Limit to 1 page to start, your home page
I cannot stress this enough. Before you start throwing up pages left and right, seek to get results from a single page before moving on to making more pages.
This is crucial especially if you’re building the site yourself. Don’t waste time trying to throw up a bunch of pages until you get success with at least one.
Add pages as you need them
As you’re presenting your site to prospects and clients in your conversations with them try to listen for common questions they have. For all the smaller questions, start an “FAQ” or frequently asked questions page that you can refer to during your conversations.
Why bring up the answer to their question that’s written on a page? Because that shows them that you had the forethought to put it down, to begin with. That’s powerful.
Any bigger hitting questions don’t be afraid to create pages dedicated to answering them.
Don’t get caught up trying to make it all perfect
If you’re not careful, your website can become an endless time sink. Don’t pull yourself from what you do best.
Keep it simple, and manage your site only as needed, or get a developer to implement the changes for you.
